Strand, Gordon's Bay & Cape Hangklip
Another very attractive drive leads you from Somerset West to Hermanus (or vice-versa) along the Eastern shore of False Bay. The little town of Strand is well known for its nice beach.
If the weather is fine along your ride down R44 you can overlook False Bay, the Peninsula and Table Mountain. You will pass some wonderful beaches on the way from Gordon's Bay to Cape Hangklip. Enjoy the Cape off the main roads!

Penguins at Stoney Point
Also in Betty's Bay a visit to the penguins at Stoney Point (follow the signs from the main road) should not be missed.

Harold Porter Botanical Garden
At Bettie's Bay you should visit the Harold Porter Botanical Garden. Enjoy the Cape floral Kingdom (fynbos) in a natural surrounding.
