This road runs from Abel Erasmus Pass right through to the N1 North of Polokwane. On the way you will find some private Game Reserves. The scenery along R36 is fantastic as you're travelling along the escarpment. Many nice views from the Lowveld to the mountains can be enjoyed. R36 joins N1 just North of the tropic of Capricorn.
