Graskop
The village of Graskop was also founded during the gold fever of the late 19^th century. Today Graskop is an ideal stopover for those visiting the natural wonders of the escarpment region. Some fine souvenir shops are catering for the tourist’s need. Biltong -air dried meat- and Macadamia nuts are also offered.
Graskop is situated on top of the escarpment in an altitude of 1.500m. The average rainfall is almost 2.500mm per year. Be prepared! The weather is unpredictable.
Close to Graskop you can visit the Natural Bridge.

Kowyn's Pass
A nice view point can be enjoyed just outside Graskop towards Hazyview/Kowyn’s Pass. This mountain leads you down towards Kruger National Park. Nice views can be enjoyed!

God's Window
The view point God’s Window is a must for the visitor to the Panorama Route. Only a  few kilometres North of Graskop you can get a breathtaking view from the top of the escarpment along the mountain range and into the Lowveld. Rain is plentiful in this area (about 3.000mm per year) and God’s windows is covered in mist quite often.
A lush vegetation and some patches of natural rain forest can be seen. If you have some time left you should also walk up to the indigenous forest where the typical escarpment vegetation can be enjoyed.

Pinnacle Rock and Wonder View
Close to God's Window you can also visit the bizarre rock formation Pinnacle Rock and the Wonder View.
If God’s Window can not be visited due to mist or rain you should first travel further North to the Canyon. The Canyon is a watershed and the weather up there is often less rainy.

Berlyn and Lisbon Falls
Travelling North from Graskop or God’s Window you’ll reach the turnoffs to the Berlyn and Lisbon waterfalls that are really worth visiting. Back on the main road you must travel North to reach Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the view points into Blyde River Canyon.
